At the first annual Johns Hopkins University MedHacks, a medical hackathon oriented towards solving healthcare problems, MoTrack Therapy (at the time LeapMed) created the first version of the application we all know and love. Over 24 hours (with little to no sleep), the original MoTrack Therapy team used the Leap Motion to detect six motions in a simple game that prompted the user to hold the desired motion for 5 seconds. MoTrack Therapy was a finalist, and won Best Leap Motion Hack. We were even featured on technical.ly — http://technical.ly/baltimore/2015/10/08/10-projects-hopkins-medhacks/.
